Meet Abegay
Abegay Taylor is a Florida-barred attorney dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate financial challenges and achieve a fresh start. She began her legal career as a Trademark Examining Attorney for the United States Patent and Trademark Office, where she developed a keen eye for detail and the ability to navigate complex federal regulations. While she enjoyed the intellectual rigor of intellectual property law, Abegay was drawn to bankruptcy practice for its direct, life-changing impact on clients—helping them protect what matters most and build a stronger financial future.
Abegay earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Florida International University College of Law, where she received multiple honors and scholarships and served as a judicial clerk in the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. Before joining LSS Law, she owned and operated her own law firm, representing clients in a range of legal matters.
She approaches every case with the belief that bankruptcy is not an ending, but a new beginning—empowering clients to move forward with confidence.
