Drake Bell, best known for his role on the Nickelodeon sitcom “Drake & Josh”, which aired from 2004 through 2008, has filed for bankruptcy protection. Although the 26-year old reportedly earned $408,000 in 2012, he only made approximately $14,000 in 2013. This drastic decrease in earnings and back taxes in the amount of $46,000 contributed to his bankruptcy filing.
According to Bell’s filings, his real estate holdings are valued at $1.575 million and he owns $10,500 in personal property, but his debts are estimated to be $2.166 million.
Bell has also been the voice of several animated characters, including Peter Parker in the “Ultimate Spider-Man” TV series. He has indicated he wants to work on a new “Drake & Josh” movie and has requested fans to use social media to make it happen.
